Reporting & Enforcement Policy
Effective Date: January 14, 2026
This policy governs how Archade investigates violations, enforces standards, and handles disputes. It transforms reporting from a "support ticket" into a structured, reliable process protecting the integrity of the platform.
1. Scope & Authority
Reports are evaluated against:
- Community Guidelines (conduct)
- Content Policy (attribution accuracy)
- Intellectual Property Policy (copyright ownershp)
- Terms of Service (legal framework)
Archade Trust & Safety retains exclusive and final discretion to determine whether a violation has occurred. We reserve the right to take action on conduct that, while not explicitly forbidden, undermines the professional integrity of the network.
2. Who Can Report (Eligibility)
To prevent abuse, reports must meet eligibility criteria:
- Account Status: Reports from verified accounts are prioritized.
- Anonymous Reports: May be de-prioritized or dismissed if insufficient evidence is provided.
- Good Faith: By submitting a report, you declare that your claim is accurate and not motivated by anti-competitive intent or harassment.
False Reporting: Submitting knowingly false or malicious reports is a violation of our Terms and may result in the suspension of your account.
3. Evidence Standards
We enforce based on evidence, not assertions.
3.1 What We Need
- Direct URLs to the infringing content.
- Screenshots if content is ephemeral.
- Context: Specifics on why it violates policy (e.g., "This user claims to be the Lead Architect but was an Intern").
- Proof (for IP): Link to original work or portfolio.
3.2 What We Don't Act On
- "He said / she said" disputes without documentation.
- Off-platform behavior (unless it poses a direct safety threat).
- Vague complaints about "unprofessionalism" without specific policy breaches.
4. Enforcement Actions & Outcomes
Action is proportionate to severity and history.
| Action | Description | Typical Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| Dismissal | No violation found. | Report invalid or lack of evidence. |
| Correction Notice | Request to edit data (e.g., fix a credit). | Attribution errors, minor inaccuracies. |
| Content Removal | Content hidden or deleted. | IP infringement, spam, severe policy breaches. |
| Account Warning | Formal strike on record. | Harassment, repeat attribution falsification. |
| Suspension | Temporary access revocation (24h - 30d). | Safety threats, spam bots, repeat offenses. |
| Termination | Permanent ban. | Egregious violations, 3+ IP strikes, fraud. |
5. Intellectual Property & Counter-Notice process
IP reports are handled under our Intellectual Property Policy and DMCA & Takedown Policy.
- Counter-Notice: If your content is removed due to a copyright claim, you have the right to submit a Counter-Notice.
- Restoration: If the claimant does not initiate legal court action within 10-14 business days, content may be restored.
6. Appeals Process
We acknowledge that moderation mistakes happen.
6.1 How to Appeal
- Reply directly to the enforcement notification email.
- Subject Line: "APPEAL: [Case ID]"
- You must provide new evidence or context not previously available. Only saying "I didn't do it" is not grounds for appeal.
6.2 Review
Appeals are reviewed by a Trust & Safety lead separate from the original moderator where possible. Appeal decisions are final.
7. Data Handling & Privacy
- Reporter Privacy: We generally do not disclose the reporter's identity to the accused, except in cases of Intellectual Property (where the claimant must be identified by law) or unless required by subpoena.
- Data Retention: Reports and evidence are retained to track repeat offender history in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitations & Disclaimers
- No Obligation: While we strive to review all reports, Archade assumes no obligation to police all user-generated content.
- Emergency Escalation: In cases involving imminent risk of physical harm, we may report data to law enforcement without prior notice.
