Dataset Opt-Out

Summary. You control whether your public content is used in industry insights and structured data. This page explains how—and that opting out has no downside for you.

Archade's inclusion of public content in structured data is intended to facilitate discoverability and attribution. Contributors retain full control over inclusion pursuant to this policy. Opting out does not affect your account standing or your reach on Archade.

1. How Visibility Works

Public content may be indexed, embedded, and used as part of the knowledge graph and structured data we make available for research and tools. You choose what is public (e.g., profile, projects, posts).
Private content is not indexed, not embedded, and not used in that structured data. One clear control: the Public ↔ Private switch on the relevant entity (profile, project, etc.).

If you mark something private, we exclude it from future indexing, embeds, and structured data we make available.

2. What Opt-Out Does

Removes from future use: Content you make private (or otherwise opt out) will not be added to new versions of the structured data we make available.
Existing aggregates: Data that has already been aggregated or anonymized (e.g., trend statistics, de-identified summaries) may remain in that form. We do not retroactively strip anonymized aggregates.
No downside: Opting out does not limit your account, visibility on the platform, or access to features. We do not treat opt-out as a signal against you.

In short: Opting out won't affect your account or your reach on Archade. It only affects whether your content is used in the structured data we make available going forward.

3. How to Opt Out

Preferred: Use the Public ↔ Private control on each entity (profile, project, company page, etc.). Private = not used in that data, not indexed, not embedded.
Account-level: If you want a broader opt-out (e.g., exclude your profile from that structured data), contact privacy@archade.app. We will process the request in line with our Privacy Policy and this policy.

We may take a short period (e.g., one refresh cycle) to propagate the change.

4. What We Don't Do

We do not:

Use opt-out to reduce your visibility or reach on the platform.
Penalize or disadvantage accounts that opt out.
Use private or opted-out content in the structured data we make available.
