Content License & Contributor Agreement
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
When you contribute content to Archade, you grant us the rights we need to run the platform—discovery, search, embeds, and so the built world can show up properly in search, tools, and AI. This page spells out your warranties and our role.
This agreement applies to all content you submit (text, images, metadata, annotations, and related materials). It works together with our Terms of Service and Content Policy.
1. Contributor Warranty
By uploading or publishing content on Archade, you confirm that:
- You own the content, or
- You have rights (e.g., license, permission) to upload it, and
- You are allowed to grant the licenses described in our Terms and here.
You are responsible for ensuring your contributions do not infringe third-party copyright, trademark, or confidentiality. If you upload content you do not have rights to, we may remove it and take action under our Reporting and DMCA policies.
2. Third-Party Content
- Copyrighted third-party material (e.g., photos, drawings, proprietary data) is your responsibility. You must have permission or a valid license before uploading.
- Archade acts as a platform intermediary. We host and index content you provide; we do not independently verify ownership of every asset.
- If we receive a valid takedown notice for content you uploaded, we will process it in line with our DMCA Policy. Repeated infringement can lead to account suspension or termination.
Clear warranties protect you and anyone who relies on the integrity of the graph.
3. How Public Content Powers Discovery and Representation
Content you make public helps power discovery (so you and your work can be found) and may be used so search, tools, and the structured data we make available can point to actual people and projects (with credit). See Dataset License. By contributing, you grant the license described in the Terms, which allows us to:
- Show and index your content for discovery and search.
- Create derivatives (e.g., embeddings, summaries) for discovery and so the industry shows up right.
- Make structured data available under the terms of our Dataset License—so the built world is discoverable and credited, with attribution.
If you prefer that specific content not be used in that way, you can mark it private or use our Dataset Opt-Out options.
