Summary. Archade licenses structured data derived from its knowledge graph for the purpose of facilitating discoverability and attribution within the built environment. The provision of such data is intended to offer a lawful alternative to unauthorized extraction of contributor content; it does not constitute a sale of data or a transfer of ownership.

Position. Contributor interests are paramount. Licensees who comply with attribution requirements and permitted use receive support. Non-compliance may result in termination of access and pursuit of available remedies under this license and applicable law.

This document describes the scope of the data, exclusions, permitted and prohibited uses, and access terms. No account is required to read it. Use of Archade's structured data (via API, download, or other means) constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. What This Is

The knowledge graph includes projects, people, companies, software, institutions, and (where available) products and media intelligence. The data is:

Structured — Schema.org–aligned (e.g., CreativeWork, Person, Organization, SoftwareApplication, EducationalOrganization). JSON-LD by default.
Attribution-safe — Contributors grant the rights we need; see Content License and Terms of Service.
Continuously updated — The graph grows as people use Archade; structure and provenance are hard to replicate elsewhere.

Coverage, freshness, and fields are described where we make each dataset available (e.g., sample endpoints or product pages).

The structured data we make available never includes:

Email addresses
Private messages or DMs
Payment or billing data
Account credentials or authentication data
Any hidden or direct personal identifiers

We keep private account data strictly separate. Only public-facing, non-identifying information is used. See Privacy Policy and How We Use Public Data.

3. Access Tiers

We make data available in different ways:

Samples — Limited scope (e.g., capped records, sample endpoints) for evaluation and non-commercial use. No account required for documented samples.
Extended access — For representing the built world in search, tools, and AI (with attribution and credit to real people); research; analytics. Governed by this license and, where applicable, a separate agreement.
Custom / enterprise — Custom scope, SLAs, or support. We work with you directly; see Contact.

The specific terms (e.g., rate limits, fields, freshness) are stated where you get access.

4. Permitted Uses

Subject to the specific terms and our Terms of Service, you may use the structured data we make available to represent the built world—with attribution and credit to real people and real projects. Permitted uses include:

Search, tools, and AI — Enabling downstream systems to surface practitioners, firms, projects, software, manufacturers, and institutions with proper attribution. Representation must reflect credited entities.
Building tools and products — Search, recommendation, discovery, and models that reflect real people and real work (with attribution). Use must not prioritize licensee or Archade enrichment at contributor expense.
Research and analytics — Trend analysis, market insights, and evaluation that represent the field and credit contributors.
Derivatives — Tools or models that use our data as one input, as long as they credit contributors and comply with these terms.

The data is provided to facilitate lawful, attributable representation—not as a training corpus or resale commodity. Attribution where required is a material term.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the data to:

Re-identify individuals or link records back to specific persons beyond what is already public. Contributors are not a target list.
Resell or redistribute raw datasets (or substantial extractions) as a standalone data product. Commoditization of contributor work without attribution is prohibited. Tools and products that represent the industry and credit real people are permitted; repackaging and reselling raw data is not.
Scrape or replicate Archade to build a competing index or service that merely mirrors our graph.
Claim ownership of the underlying data or the Archade knowledge graph. You may use and build on the data; you do not own it.
Use the data without attribution where we require it. Crediting real people is a material term.

Violation of these restrictions may result in access termination and other remedies. Protecting contributors takes precedence over accommodating all use cases.

6. Attribution

When required: For some access (e.g., samples, research use), we may require attribution (e.g., "Data from Archade"). The requirement is stated where you get access.
When optional: For other uses, attribution may be optional but appreciated.
When waived: In custom or enterprise arrangements, we may agree that attribution is not used. That's set out in the relevant agreement.

If no specific rule is stated, a reasonable attribution (e.g., in documentation or a data card) is requested where practicable.

7. No Warranties

Data is provided "as is." We do not warrant completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise bias-free or error-free data. You use it at your own risk. See AI Disclosure and Data Ethics.
