Scandinavian Open-Plan Living and Dining Room Scene

This Scandinavian open-plan living and dining room scene for SketchUp features a balanced layout with dark herringbone flooring and white walls. The space is defined by its clean Scandinavian aesthetic, combining a dark-stained herringbone timber floor with high-contrast furniture pieces. A central dining area features a light oak table paired with curved-back wooden chairs, while the adjacent living zone centres on a grey fabric sofa and a dark-toned lounge chair. Decorative elements include a textured terracotta pouf, a minimalist floor lamp, and a cluster of wall-mounted mirrors. The composition is brightened by large window openings and classic cornice detailing, creating a cohesive, light-filled residential environment that feels both curated and liveable for various interior design concepts.

The download is a 172 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can leverage this SketchUp scene as a foundational template for residential interior visualisations. The file structure allows for easy manipulation of individual furniture assets, lighting rigs, and material textures. Designers should check the layer organisation upon import to toggle visibility of decorative elements or adjust the sunlight settings to suit specific project requirements. Texture mapping is pre-applied, providing a reliable starting point for final rendering output or real-time walkthroughs within the native environment.
