About this asset

This 3ds Max model features an oriental altar cabinet set, complete with a dark wood storage unit and an intricate decorative screen. The set comprises a primary altar table with an integrated lower storage cabinet, finished in a deep black wood grain. A prominent vertical back panel features a central gold circular emblem and is framed by a delicate, geometric metal lattice screen. The tabletop is styled for ritual use, incorporating small accessory items including vases and a central vessel. The design balances dark, solid massing with the airy, linear quality of the fretwork, creating a focal point suitable for traditional or contemporary interior spaces that require a dedicated spiritual or ceremonial area.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the cabinet for easy placement against walls. The geometry is organised into logical layers, separating the storage unit, the lattice screen, and the decorative accessories. Users should apply high-resolution wood textures to the cabinet surfaces and use a metallic shader for the gold emblem to ensure accurate light reflection. Adjust the scale within the scene to match the surrounding interior architecture before finalising the lighting setup.

This altar cabinet is intended for high-end residential projects, specifically within living areas or dedicated prayer rooms where cultural heritage is celebrated. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors to provide a strong, contrasting feature. Professionals searching for spiritual furniture, ancestor shrines, or traditional oriental storage solutions will find this asset versatile. It is suitable for use in architectural visualisations requiring authentic cultural details, helping to define the spatial narrative within a home or hospitality environment during the concept and detailed design stages.
