Terracotta Breeze Block Decorative Screen Set

This SketchUp model features a modular terracotta breeze block screen system with varied geometric apertures for architectural design. This collection of modular breeze blocks presents a versatile solution for creating semi-permeable partitions or decorative facade elements. The set includes multiple block types featuring distinct cut-outs, including circular voids, linear slots, and diagonal triangular patterns. Each block is finished in a natural, matte terracotta tone, emphasizing a tactile, earthy quality. The modular nature of these units allows for the creation of intricate, rhythmic patterns when aggregated. The design balances structural mass with negative space, facilitating natural ventilation and light filtration while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

The download is a 3.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these blocks are best utilised as individual components within a larger assembly. Users can easily array or copy these modules to construct custom screen dimensions. Applying tags to different block types will assist in managing the geometry and simplifying the scene hierarchy. Texture mapping is straightforward, as the terracotta finish is uniform; users may adjust the bump or displacement maps to enhance the surface detail when rendering in external engines for a more realistic architectural presentation.
