Autumn Park Overcast HDRI Environment Map

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides soft, diffuse overcast lighting for 3D scenes within an autumn park setting. The environment captures a tranquil park clearing during an overcast autumn day, characterised by a dense canopy of deciduous trees displaying seasonal foliage in shades of gold, brown, and muted green. The ground plane is densely covered in a layer of fallen leaves, creating a soft, natural texture that wraps seamlessly around the horizon. Lighting is uniform and shadowless, typical of heavy cloud cover, which ensures consistent global illumination without harsh highlights or high-contrast hotspots. The composition is balanced and unclipped, providing a neutral, naturalistic base for exterior architectural visualisations and product renders.

The download is a 7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Designed for use in standard 3D rendering engines, this.hdr file acts as an environment light source. Load the file into your software's environment slot or dome light setup to provide both background visuals and indirect light. Because the lighting is diffuse and overcast, it requires minimal adjustment to exposure settings. For optimal results, ensure your scene's ground plane aligns with the horizon line of the map to maintain accurate perspective and scale for your 3D assets.

This environment is well-suited for exterior residential or commercial landscape projects that require a natural, autumnal backdrop. It pairs effectively with outdoor furniture, garden structures, or architectural models where soft, even lighting is preferred for high-detail material inspection. Professionals working on seasonal renders or nature-focused scenes will find this asset useful for establishing a mood that feels grounded and authentic. Use it to enhance realism in exterior visualisations, specifically when demonstrating site integration within a wooded or parkland context.
