About this asset

This SketchUp model features a traditional oriental-style wooden pavilion with a tiered tiled roof and integrated bench seating. The structure is defined by its substantial square timber columns and a complex, overhanging hip-and-gable roof system finished with grey tiles. The pavilion sits on a raised platform, featuring an integrated stone-effect bench along one side for seating. Decorative bracketry at the column heads provides structural support and aesthetic detail consistent with historical East Asian architectural forms. The model includes a small human scale figure to illustrate the generous proportions of the space, which is open on three sides to allow for natural ventilation and garden views.

The download is a 4.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for SketchUp, this model is structured with clean geometry that allows for easy placement within site plans or landscape scenes. Users should verify the scale against their project context upon import. Materials are applied as standard textures, making them simple to replace or adjust using the material editor. The model's components are logically grouped, facilitating the modification of individual elements like the bench or roof detail without affecting the main frame, ensuring efficient integration into your wider 3D environment.

This pavilion is an ideal addition to landscape design projects, luxury residential gardens, or public parks where a tranquil, sheltered seating area is required. It serves as a focal point in courtyard designs, Zen gardens, or hotel resort grounds. Architects and designers looking for authentic exterior structures will find this model useful for early-stage conceptual massing or final high-quality visualisations. It pairs well with gravel paths, stone paving, and lush planting schemes to create a cohesive outdoor living space.
