Contemporary Grey Marble Top Reception Desk with Metal Arch Base

This contemporary SketchUp reception desk features a long grey marble-effect top supported by a sculptural black metal arch frame. The desk presents a sleek, linear aesthetic defined by a wide, rectangular surface finished in a high-contrast grey marble pattern. Beneath the surface, the structural integrity is provided by two prominent, sweeping arched metal supports that meet at a central horizontal bracing bar. The base is finished in a matte black powder coat, creating a sophisticated silhouette suitable for modern professional environments. This model includes a standard desktop computer monitor, providing a sense of scale and immediate context for interior layouts. The overall proportions are generous, facilitating a comfortable workspace for administrative tasks.

The download is a 5.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured with distinct groups for the tabletop and the metal base to facilitate easy material editing or resizing. Users can apply custom stone textures to the top surface or adjust the metal finish using the materials panel. The model is scaled for immediate insertion into architectural plans, and its geometry is optimized for quick rendering. Ensure the axis origin is set correctly at the base for efficient placement within your project files.
