Vintage brass nautical binnacle Revit family modeled with a cylindrical pedestal base and red and green quadrantal corrector spheres. This nautical binnacle features a cylindrical column set on a square plinth base, finished in deep reddish-brown tones reminiscent of polished teak or copper. Atop the shaft sits a cast brass hood complete with an angled circular viewing port and conical cap housing the magnetic compass mechanism. Two lateral brass brackets extend symmetrically to support red port and green starboard quadrantal corrector spheres, also known as Kelvin's balls. A small brass plaque accentuates the upper front face, rendering traditional maritime navigation detailing with clean geometric sweeps and metallic materials.
The download is a 461 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load the RFA family directly into Revit projects and place it on any active floor level or flat horizontal work plane. Model components carry native material parameters, allowing visualizers to adjust the brass reflectance, column wood finish, and painted sphere finishes within the family type properties. It schedules accurately as a specialty equipment or furniture asset across interior documentation and presentation sheets.
Ideal for hospitality interiors, seafood restaurants, maritime heritage centers, yacht clubs, and coastal-themed residential schemes, this asset brings authentic historical navigation character to interior renders. Designers can position the piece as a freestanding feature beside nautical displays, near lobby entranceways, or within themed executive offices and private libraries. It integrates naturally alongside coastal timber millwork, vintage maritime artifacts, and nautical lighting collections in presentation elevations and rendered interior perspectives.
