About this asset

This 3ds Max kitchen island features a minimalist stone-clad form with an angular base and a warm, integrated LED plinth light. Defined by its sculptural, geometric silhouette, this kitchen island showcases a seamless stone finish in a light grey tone. The primary volume incorporates a sharp, angular cut-out on the front face, creating a dynamic profile that contrasts with the clean, horizontal surface of the countertop. A recessed plinth at the base houses a continuous LED light strip, casting a soft, diffuse glow onto the floor plane. The unit is compact in its footprint, making it suitable for modern open-plan living spaces where a balance of aesthetic impact and functional surface area is required.

The download is an 8.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this unit into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master interior assembly. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within kitchen layouts. Apply your preferred stone texture mapping to the main surfaces to match the project's material palette. The light source is set up for global illumination; ensure your render engine settings are adjusted to capture the subtle glow of the base LED strip effectively within your interior lighting environment.

This island is ideal for high-end residential kitchen designs, luxury apartment fit-outs, or boutique hospitality settings like small cafe counters. It pairs effectively with minimalist bar stools and sleek contemporary cabinetry. Professionals searching for a statement piece for an open-plan kitchen or a sophisticated retail display unit will find this asset versatile. It is particularly suited for projects during the design development or visualisation stage, where a refined, modern aesthetic is essential for conveying a sense of premium, bespoke craftsmanship.
