About this asset

Modern roller blind Revit family featuring a charcoal woven drop screen mounted on a slim top roller tube with bottom rail. This window treatment features a clean, rectangular roller screen composition designed for interior or semi-outdoor solar shading. The assembly incorporates a minimal cylindrical top roller barrel flanked by circular end caps, finished in light metallic grey. Below, a continuous rectangular drop sheet of dark charcoal woven fabric hangs taut, terminated by a discreet bottom weighting bar that maintains sheet tension. The textured screen surface displays subtle vertical linear striations characteristic of solar screen fabrics or sun-filtering mesh, offering a neat architectural profile suited for concealed pelmets, ceiling pockets, or exposed window frames.

The download is a 369 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Designed for documentation and visualisation in Revit, the component imports smoothly via standard family loading procedures. Place the element against vertical glazing assemblies, window reveals, or ceiling recesses in plan or 3D views. Materials for the fabric mesh and hardware casing can be adjusted within project material parameters to match specific interior specifications or daylight studies, ensuring clean presentation in both technical drawing elevations and rendered perspectives.

Well suited for contemporary corporate offices, high-rise residential apartments, conference suites, and modern hospitality lounges requiring refined solar shading. This roller blind pairs naturally with floor-to-ceiling curtain wall facades, minimalist aluminium window joinery, and recessed architectural pelmets. Search terms like charcoal roller shade, drop sunscreen, motorized solar blind, and window shading family align directly with its practical application across schematic space planning and interior fit-out packages.
