Potted Grass in Square Concrete Planter

This potted grass in a square concrete planter is a SketchUp model featuring slender, upright foliage and a weathered base. This decorative plant features a dense cluster of tall, thin, pointed grass blades in varying shades of green, creating a natural vertical accent. The greenery is housed in a tapered, square-profile planter finished with a textured, weathered concrete appearance. The proportions are balanced for use as a floor-standing or surface-mounted accessory, providing a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The plant geometry is simplified, focusing on the overall form and silhouette of the grass stalks rather than individual leaf detail, making it an efficient option for filling interior spaces without overwhelming the scene's polygon budget.

The download is a 758 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp scene, use the import function to add the component to your model. Ensure the plant is placed on a level surface and scale it appropriately to match the surrounding furniture. Because the geometry is relatively lightweight, it is suitable for populating larger areas like lobbies or open-plan offices. Apply high-quality textures to the planter if a more realistic material finish is required for close-up render shots, or keep as-is for quick conceptual visualisations.

Ideal for adding life to modern residential living rooms, corporate office receptions, or hotel lobbies, this potted grass serves as a versatile filler. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or industrial-style interiors where a touch of greenery softens concrete or metal textures. Architects and interior designers often use this type of asset to indicate biophilic design intent during the early stages of project development. Search for this plant when looking for low-impact, decorative greenery to populate interior design renders and architectural staging scenes.
