About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max work desk features a striking contrast between a sleek black top, a cylindrical leg, and a marble slab. Defined by its asymmetrical base, this work desk balances a solid black rectangular surface with two distinct support structures. One side is anchored by a smooth, high-gloss black cylindrical column, while the opposing side is supported by a vertical slab of white veined marble framed by thin black metal profiles. The overall aesthetic is one of refined luxury and structural tension, suitable for high-end executive suites. The desktop provides a clean, expansive workspace, while the mix of materials offers both textural depth and a sophisticated, monochromatic palette that complements modern interior design schemes.

The download is a 40.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this desk into a 3ds Max project, import the model into your scene and ensure the scale is adjusted to your specific room dimensions. The materials are logically grouped, allowing for quick adjustments to the marble veining or the gloss levels on the metal components. Use the pivot point at the base for precise placement against walls or as a freestanding feature. For lighting, standard studio setups or soft global illumination will effectively highlight the reflective qualities of the black finish.

This piece is ideal for executive offices, home studies, or high-end commercial lobby areas where a statement furniture item is required. It pairs well with minimalist leather office chairs or sculptural task lighting. Search for this desk when specifying furniture for luxury residential projects or professional workspaces that require a blend of durability and contemporary style. It functions effectively as a focal point in a master study or as a refined workstation for a modern creative studio environment.
