Grey Contemporary Japanese Tea Room Interior Scene

This SketchUp interior scene features a contemporary Japanese tea room with custom joinery, bespoke lighting, and a marble washbasin. Centred on a long, minimalist timber tea table, this interior arrangement balances traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary materials. The space includes three sculptural stools in contrasting terracotta and blue-grey tones, paired with a singular upholstered armchair. A prominent feature is the back-lit, grid-patterned shelving unit which provides a warm amber glow against the muted grey palette. To the side, a monolithic marble block serves as a water station or vanity, complete with a modern black faucet. The composition is grounded by a large, abstract-patterned rug and refined linear ceiling lighting.
