About this asset

This contemporary brown fabric bean bag pouf for 3ds Max features a soft, informal silhouette with detailed textile folds and textures. Designed for casual comfort, this round bean bag pouf is upholstered in a textured, woven fabric in a warm brown tone. The form is organic and unstructured, featuring realistic natural folds and gathered seams that indicate a soft, flexible interior fill. The surface texture is uniform, providing a tactile, high-quality appearance suitable for close-up visualisation work. Its low-profile design and rounded shape make it an ideal accent piece for relaxed interior settings, offering a visual contrast to more rigid, structured furniture items within a room composition.

The download is a 28.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on a flat surface to avoid intersection with floor geometry. The fabric mapping is designed to be self-contained; apply standard material modifiers if adjustments to tiling or scale are required for specific render resolutions. Use the native pivot point to manage rotation and placement within your layout. If using in a high-density scene, the asset can be easily instanced to populate lounge areas without significantly impacting viewport performance.

This bean bag is well-suited for informal residential living rooms, kids' play areas, or relaxed reading corners in bedrooms. It also functions effectively in hospitality environments such as modern hotel lobbies, break-out zones in creative offices, or trendy cafe interiors where flexible, comfortable seating is required. Designers often pair this piece with low-profile sectional sofas, floor lamps, and casual area rugs to create a cohesive, inviting atmosphere.
