Contemporary Grey Fabric Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room SketchUp scene features a grey sectional sofa, herringbone timber floors, and a minimalist TV unit. Centred around a large, L-shaped grey fabric sofa, this open-plan living room scene balances soft textures with crisp architectural lines. The space is anchored by a dark circular coffee table paired with a hexagonal brown ottoman, set against a backdrop of white walls and herringbone-patterned timber flooring. A wall-mounted timber TV console extends across the feature wall, which includes a high-contrast black marble panel. Lighting is provided by minimalist black track fixtures, while a large-scale architectural wall art print adds depth. The composition includes integrated window treatments and a potted indoor plant.

The download is a 198 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational layout for residential visualisation projects. The model is structured with grouped assets, allowing for easy selection and modification of individual elements like the sofa or lighting. Users should verify material paths upon opening to ensure textures map correctly to the geometry. The scene is scaled for standard residential heights, making it efficient to adjust camera angles or swap out specific furniture pieces to suit custom design requirements without rebuilding the primary room geometry.
