About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp armchair features a beige fabric upholstery set within a minimal metal frame and includes a checkered throw. This armchair showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its tubular metal frame finished in a soft cream-beige tone. The seating consists of a deep, square seat cushion and a matching backrest, both upholstered in a neutral beige fabric with subtle texture. The frame wraps around the sides and back in a vertical bar configuration, providing an airy, lightweight appearance. A black and white checkered fabric throw is draped casually over one arm, adding a graphic contrast to the monochromatic base. The piece offers a balanced, structured silhouette suitable for refined interior compositions.

The download is a 42.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised with logical grouping to facilitate easy placement and material adjustments. Users should verify the scale against project floor plans upon insertion. The fabric and metal textures are mapped to standard faces, allowing for simple colour overrides or custom material application via the material browser. For high-quality visualisations, consider applying a slight bump map to the upholstery to enhance depth and realism when rendering with external plugins.

This armchair is ideal for modern living rooms, quiet reading corners, or hotel lounge areas where a balance of comfort and structural design is required.
