Japanese Natural Wood Dining Set with Resin Inlay

This Japanese-style SketchUp dining set features a live-edge wooden table with a central resin inlay and eight matching chairs. This dining set comprises a substantial rectangular table supported by heavy timber-log pedestals, featuring a natural live-edge finish and a prominent central resin inlay that mimics a riverbed or landscape terrain. The eight accompanying chairs exhibit traditional Japanese influence, characterised by curved, rounded backrests, square-profile frames, and upholstered seat cushions in a neutral light-toned fabric. The set includes a tall, minimalist white pedestal base for an accompanying tea-service accessory, contributing to a coherent, serene aesthetic. The combination of raw organic wood textures and clean geometric lines creates a balanced, sophisticated focal point for interior spaces.

The download is a 12.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this set is organised into logical groups for the table and individual chairs, allowing for easy repositioning or layout adjustments. Users should check the model scale upon insertion to ensure alignment with project floor levels. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily edited or swapped in the material browser to match specific project lighting or colour palettes. The components are optimised for efficient viewport performance, making them suitable for populated interior visualisations.
