Contemporary Black and Red Open-Plan Living Kitchen Scene

This contemporary SketchUp model presents a moody open-plan living and kitchen scene defined by a dark palette and striking red accents. Designed with a high-contrast aesthetic, this open-plan interior features a charcoal-toned modular sofa set against a backdrop of deep black wood-panelled cabinetry. The kitchen zone is integrated into the rear wall, accented by a bold red splashback that provides a focal point against the dark surfaces. A low-profile red side table and a matching sculptural armchair introduce vibrant colour, while a textured grey area rug defines the lounge space. The lighting scheme is composed of minimalist pendant lights suspended over the kitchen counter, complemented by recessed ceiling spots that maintain the sleek, architectural atmosphere.

Within SketchUp, this scene is structured as a complete environment, allowing users to toggle visibility of specific furniture groups or adjust lighting settings. The file includes pre-configured materials and textures, designed for direct use in architectural visualisation workflows. Professionals can manipulate individual components, such as the sofa or kitchen units, to refine the composition or integrate new elements. Scaling and layer management are essential for maintaining the integrity of the scene when merging it into larger residential project files or custom architectural models.
