About this asset

This modern kids wardrobe for SketchUp features a white finish with a natural wood house-shaped open niche and integrated storage. Designed for a children's bedroom, this four-door wardrobe combines closed storage with a playful, house-shaped open display niche. The primary structure is finished in a clean matte white, contrasted by a natural wood interior within the central niche. The niche back panel features a circular perforation pattern, suitable for decorative hooks or accessories. Below the open display area are three stacked drawers with minimalist circular pulls. The wardrobe is topped with a full-width upper storage section, providing a cohesive, floor-to-ceiling storage solution that balances functional volume with a light, whimsical aesthetic.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement within interior scenes. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly against the room height before assigning materials to the individual components. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply textures or adjust the colour palette to suit specific interior schemes. For rendering, it is recommended to manage the wood and white paint materials separately to ensure realistic light interaction on the different surface finishes.

This piece is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly in nurseries, children's bedrooms, or playrooms. It pairs well with modern, minimalist, or scandinavian-inspired decor, providing a practical storage solution that doubles as a display feature for books or toys. Professionals searching for nursery furniture, kids room storage, or modular wardrobe systems will find this asset fits seamlessly into contemporary floor plans. It is particularly effective for staging family-oriented housing developments or individual custom home commissions requiring a touch of character.
