About this asset

This 2K HDRI environment map captures a clear-sky, midday bridge setting, providing authentic image-based lighting for 3D scenes. This high-dynamic-range environment map features a panoramic capture of a pedestrian bridge spanning a canal under a bright, cloudless sky. The lighting profile is consistent with a clear midday sun, producing sharp shadows and high-contrast highlights. The image includes a chrome sphere, a neutral grey matte sphere, and a blue reflective sphere, which serve as visual references for light intensity, colour temperature, and material response within the virtual space. The composition offers a wide, open perspective ideal for grounding architectural visualisations in a realistic, outdoor riverside context.

The download is a 9.2 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To implement this file, load the HDRI into the environment or dome light slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene requirements and fine-tune the exposure intensity to match the desired light levels. Because the file contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically drive both global illumination and reflections, ensuring that the lighting and environmental reflections on your materials remain physically consistent and accurate to the captured source.

This environment map is well-suited for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly those involving public infrastructure, bridges, or canal-side developments. It provides a clean, neutral backdrop for showcasing product design models or automotive renderings that require natural, high-contrast sunlight. Professionals will find this asset useful during the development of daylight studies, as the clear-sky conditions offer a predictable baseline for testing material performance and shadow casting in outdoor environments. It pairs effectively with urban landscape projects and open-air public space designs.
