Modern Light Wood Glass-Fronted Cat House Cabinet

This modern light wood cat house cabinet for SketchUp features a glass-fronted design with integrated climbing platforms and a sleeping den. Constructed from light-toned timber, this upright cabinet acts as a multi-level enclosure for domestic pets. The front elevation consists of two full-height glass doors framed in wood, providing visibility into the interior activity zone. Inside, the configuration includes a suspended wooden house, multiple cantilevered shelving tiers for climbing, and a circular base for a cushioned sleeping pod in blush pink. The entire assembly is mounted on small castor wheels for mobility. Vertical timber slats at the rear provide texture and structural support, while black vertical handles complete the minimalist aesthetic.

The download is a 30.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into components to allow for easy repositioning of the internal climbing elements. Use the component browser to manage the cabinet as a single unit or explode it to adjust individual shelves. Apply high-resolution wood grain textures to the cabinet frame and adjust the transparency of the glass material to suit your render engine settings. The castor wheels are grouped separately, facilitating quick placement on different floor finishes within your interior scenes.

Ideal for contemporary residential projects, this cat house fits seamlessly into living rooms, home offices, or dedicated pet areas where functional design meets animal welfare. It serves as an effective space-saving solution for multi-pet households, pairing well with modern interior schemes and natural material palettes. Professionals searching for pet-friendly interior assets, bespoke joinery, or functional feline furniture will find this model suitable for detailing high-end apartment living or architectural visualisations of pet-inclusive homes.
