Traditional Dark Wood Dressing Table and Upholstered Chair Set

This traditional dressing table and upholstered chair set for 3ds Max features a dark wood finish and elegant tapered legs. This classic dressing table set comprises a rectangular writing desk with a single central drawer and a matching side chair. The table is constructed from dark-stained timber, elevated by slender, turned, and tapered legs that terminate in delicate feet. The chair features a curved, open-back frame and an upholstered seat pad in a neutral off-white fabric. The set is presented with secondary decorative elements, including a small black desk lamp, a dark vase with dried cotton stems, and a book, providing a complete vignette for interior visualisation projects requiring a refined, historic, or traditional aesthetic.

The download is a 46.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for the easy separation of the desk, chair, and decorative accessories. Users should verify the pivot points are set to the floor plane for accurate placement. Materials are applied using standard mapping coordinates; ensure the texture paths are repathed upon merging into your scene. The geometry is clean, supporting standard subdivision workflows if closer camera angles are required for high-detail interior renders or architectural close-ups.

Ideal for residential bedroom suites, guest rooms, or boutique hotel interiors, this set serves as a functional focal point for dressing areas or quiet study nooks. It pairs well with traditional or transitional interior schemes, complementing ornate wallpaper, classic floor mouldings, and soft textile palettes. Designers looking for a refined vanity or writing desk solution will find this asset fits seamlessly into luxury residential projects or period-style hospitality designs, adding a sense of curated, lived-in character to rendered spaces.
