About this asset

This modern rectangular rug features a repeating black cross pattern on a white fabric base, provided as a native SketchUp model. This floor covering features a clean, rectangular silhouette defined by a repeating, hand-drawn style cross motif in black set against a crisp white background. The design is simple and graphic, suited for contemporary interiors that require a subtle yet distinct visual anchor. The material representation suggests a standard woven fabric construction with a low pile. It is presented as a singular, flat geometry, making it efficient for floor-plan layouts and interior visualisations where a clean, uncluttered aesthetic is required to ground a furniture arrangement or define a specific zone within an open-plan space.

The download is a 7.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a simple component or group, allowing for easy placement on floor surfaces. Users should ensure the rug is positioned slightly above the floor plane to avoid Z-fighting. The texture map is applied to a single face, which can be scaled or adjusted using the native material editor. Given its flat geometry, it is lightweight and does not impact viewport performance, making it suitable for populating multiple rooms within a large residential project model.

Ideal for residential projects, this rug complements minimalist, scandi-style, or contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices. It serves as an effective way to introduce pattern without overwhelming a space. Professionals might search for this asset when looking for graphic textiles, area rugs for staging, or floor accessories to soften hard surfaces. It pairs well with neutral furniture, timber flooring, or solid-coloured upholstery, adding a touch of personality to floor designs in both initial concept stages and final presentation renders.
