About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair scene for 3ds Max includes a fabric armchair, a metal side table, a potted plant, and two human figures. The scene features a mid-toned brown fabric lounge chair with a solid dark wood frame, characterized by its clean lines and comfortable, slightly angled backrest. It is accompanied by a minimalist round side table with a slender metal base and a large, vibrant green indoor plant housed in a simple white cylindrical ceramic pot. Two realistic 3D human figures are included, posed naturally to demonstrate the scale and intended use of the seating area. The composition provides a complete, ready-to-use vignette for interior architectural visualisations requiring authentic human interaction and balanced furniture arrangements.

The download is a 135 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this scene into 3ds Max, users can easily merge the assets into their master project file. The objects are typically organised by layer, allowing for the isolation of individual elements like the chair or plant if needed. Ensure that the scale is verified against your floor plan before placement. Materials are applied using standard workflows, and users should check texture paths to ensure all bitmaps are correctly linked to the geometry upon opening the scene for rendering.

This asset is ideal for populating residential living rooms, modern hotel lobbies, or relaxed office breakout spaces. It serves as a perfect focal point for interior design renders that require a lived-in feel. Professionals searching for lounge seating, indoor greenery, or staff for architectural visualisation will find this set highly practical. It pairs well with contemporary interior styles and can be used in early concept development or final high-quality presentation shots to add depth and narrative to the design.
