Industrial Light Wood Partition Wall with Shelving Unit

This industrial-style partition wall in SketchUp features light wood shelving and a base console, finished with black metal accents. The assembly comprises a white vertical partition wall serving as a structural backdrop for a wall-mounted shelving unit and an adjacent base console. The shelving system utilizes black industrial-style metal piping brackets supporting three light-toned wood shelves. Below, a matching light wood console provides integrated storage with a mix of open cubbies and a closed cabinet section. The proportions are balanced for a modern interior, offering a functional room-dividing solution that combines open display space with practical base storage. The overall aesthetic is clean and contemporary, suitable for various interior design applications.

The download is a 32.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this partition into a SketchUp scene, place the component against a wall or use it as a freestanding room divider. The model is structured into logical groups, allowing for easy material assignment or scaling of individual elements. Users should ensure the model origin is set to the floor plane for accurate insertion. For rendering, apply PBR textures to the wood surfaces and adjust the metal material properties to achieve a realistic semi-matte finish on the piping brackets.

This partition is ideal for open-plan residential apartments, home offices, or modern studio environments where spatial zoning is required without sacrificing light or storage capacity. It functions effectively as a feature wall or a functional room divider that pairs well with minimalist or industrial furniture. Designers often search for these units when specifying modular storage solutions for contemporary workspaces or living areas. It acts as both a decorative display element and a practical storage hub for books, decor, and office supplies.
