About this asset

This 3ds Max set features a classic metal suit of armour displayed within an arched niche, flanked by two wall-mounted fire braziers. This decorative set comprises a full-scale medieval-style suit of polished steel armour standing on a base within a black, arched architectural niche. The backdrop of the niche is detailed with a subtle geometric pattern. Flanking the central figure are two hanging metal braziers, each suspended by chains against a dark vertical banner. The braziers are modelled with active flame elements, providing a dramatic accent. The ensemble is designed as a cohesive installation, blending historical aesthetic elements with clean, modern geometry suitable for high-end interior visualisations requiring a focal point.

The download is a 110 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for independent placement of the armour, the niche structure, and the fire braziers. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy floor-plane snapping. Materials are applied as standard multi-sub-object shaders; check the texture paths upon loading to ensure the metal reflections and flame maps are properly linked. Lighting can be adjusted by modifying the intensity of the included flame-emissive elements.

This set is ideal for period-inspired interiors, luxury residential entry halls, themed hospitality projects, or grand library spaces. It serves as an effective feature piece in traditional, gothic, or eclectic design schemes. Professionals searching for historical props, medieval decor, or dramatic architectural accents will find this model versatile for both close-up renders and wide-angle room views. It pairs well with heavy timber furniture, stone flooring, and deep-toned wall finishes, enhancing the atmosphere of a study or a grand foyer.
