About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a cream fabric upholstery paired with distinctively textured wood armrests and slim black legs. This contemporary armchair showcases a balanced, inviting form with a deep, cushioned seat and a gently curved backrest. The upholstery is finished in a neutral cream fabric, offering a soft tactile quality that complements the rich, dark brown, textured wooden side panels. These panels serve as structural armrests, bridging the gap between the upholstered frame and the slender, matte black metal legs. The overall construction emphasizes a refined silhouette, combining plush comfort with a deliberate material contrast that highlights the craftsmanship of the frame and the clean lines of the base.

The download is a 15 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this 3ds Max model into your project, import the file into your scene and use the existing layers to manage the seat upholstery and frame components separately. The materials are pre-configured, allowing for easy adjustment of fabric maps or wood textures to suit your specific lighting environment. Ensure the pivot point is set to the floor plane for accurate placement. When rendering, apply a subtle bump map to the textured armrests to enhance their visual depth under close-up camera angles.
