About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa in green velvet is a 3ds Max model featuring deep button tufting and a sleek metal base. Defined by its classic chesterfield-inspired silhouette, this 3-seater sofa features deep button tufting across the backrest and front apron. The upholstery is a rich, deep green velvet, providing a soft texture and light-reflecting sheen. It is supported by slim, angled metal legs finished in a polished gold tone, which contrast with the plush, rounded frame. The seating configuration includes three distinct cushions, complemented by a set of six decorative throw pillows in varied shades of grey, charcoal, and metallic-toned fabric, adding depth and comfort to the overall design.

The download is a 6.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this asset directly into their 3ds Max scene via the import command. The model is organised by clear layer naming, allowing for easy separation of the sofa body, cushions, and metal legs. Materials are set up using standard texture maps; artists should ensure pathing is updated to the local directory upon loading. The geometric detail is suitable for mid-to-high resolution rendering, and users can adjust the pillow placement to suit specific camera angles or interior compositions.

This piece is ideal for luxury residential living rooms, high-end hotel lobbies, or boutique lounge interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or marble-topped side tables to balance its ornate tufted detailing. Professionals searching for statement seating or velvet upholstery options will find this model suitable for both modern and eclectic design schemes. Its rich colour palette makes it a strong focal point in sophisticated interior visualisations, particularly when rendered in well-lit, contemporary spaces requiring a touch of tactile elegance.
