Contemporary White and Wood Console Table with Metal Screen

This contemporary SketchUp console table features a white four-door storage cabinet paired with a tall, geometric gold metal screen. The unit combines a functional storage cabinet with an integrated, floor-to-ceiling decorative screen. The cabinet is finished in white with recessed panel door detailing and topped with a natural timber surface, providing a clean, balanced aesthetic. Its base consists of slender, dark-coloured tapered legs that lift the structure, enhancing the sense of lightness. Behind the cabinet, a large, rectangular metal partition in a polished gold finish features a vertical, abstract geometric pattern, acting as a striking backdrop or room divider. Small gold hardware accents on the cabinet doors tie the composition together.

The download is a 3.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for the cabinet and the metal screen, allowing for easy placement and individual scaling if required. Users should ensure the model is placed on the correct layer to manage visibility during project development. Applying high-resolution textures to the wood top and metallic finishes to the screen will provide realistic light reflections, especially when using external rendering plugins to achieve the desired material depth and ambient occlusion within a larger interior scene.

This piece works effectively in residential entryways, living rooms, or hotel lobbies where a subtle room divider is needed to define zones without completely blocking light. It pairs well with modern or contemporary interior schemes, serving as a focal point for styling accessories like vases, artwork, or lighting. Architects and interior designers often search for such dual-purpose furniture to solve spatial challenges in open-plan layouts, using the term console table or decorative room divider to locate high-quality, ready-to-use assets for their visualisations.
