About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a rectangular walnut-finish table paired with six dark wood and metal chairs. The set comprises a sturdy rectangular dining table with a prominent wood-grain surface and a solid, angular pedestal-style base. Six matching chairs accompany the table, featuring curved plywood backrests finished in a deep espresso tone, supported by slender, minimalist black metal frames. A central cutout in each chair back provides a distinctive visual detail. The arrangement includes decorative tabletop accessories, such as glass jars and a small dish, enhancing the composition for immediate scene integration. Proportions are balanced for standard dining applications, focusing on clean lines and a refined material contrast.

The download is a 46.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type for efficient scene management. Users can merge the assembly into a project file and adjust the table and chairs independently. The materials are mapped using standard coordinates, allowing for easy texture scaling or substitution. Lighting should be set up to highlight the walnut grain and the metallic sheen of the chair frames, ideally using an HDRI for realistic reflections on the glass accessories and the table surface.

This dining set is suited for modern residential dining rooms, upscale apartment living areas, or boutique hospitality spaces such as cafes and restaurants.
