About this asset

This minimalist white vertical blind SketchUp model features clean, uniform slats designed for contemporary residential and office interiors. The window covering consists of a series of vertical fabric slats, providing a linear and clean aesthetic for modern glazing. These blinds are designed to offer controlled light diffusion while maintaining a minimalist profile. The model captures the subtle texture of the fabric material, ensuring realistic light interaction within a render. The vertical orientation of the slats emphasises height, making it a functional choice for floor-to-ceiling windows or sliding glass doors. The geometry is straightforward, focusing on precise alignment and spacing to ensure a consistent appearance across large window spans in any architectural project.

The download is a 42.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this model into a SketchUp scene, place the component against your window wall geometry. Use the scale tool to adjust the height and width to match your specific opening dimensions, ensuring the vertical slats remain perpendicular to the floor. Apply materials via the paint bucket tool if custom colours are required, and ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during the design process to manage viewport performance effectively.

These blinds are ideal for contemporary living rooms, home offices, and corporate workspaces where clean lines and light control are essential. They pair well with mid-century or modern furniture settings, providing a neutral backdrop that complements various interior palettes. Professionals often search for these when specifying window treatments for residential renovations or commercial fit-outs requiring a functional, unobtrusive shading solution. They are particularly effective in projects aiming for a calm, uncluttered aesthetic, serving as a reliable asset for both conceptual design and final visualisation.
