Contemporary Grey Wood and Black Metal Altar Cabinet Set

This contemporary altar cabinet set for 3ds Max features a sleek black metal frame paired with a grey wood-grain two-door cabinet. The assembly comprises a minimalist altar table structure finished in matte black, which houses a compact, two-door storage cabinet underneath. The cabinet doors feature a distinct chevron or book-matched grey wood veneer pattern, adding texture to the otherwise stark frame. Included in the set are several decorative ritual objects, including a central golden Buddha statue, two slender crane figurines, and various small incense or candle holders. The clean lines and monochromatic palette provide a balanced, modern aesthetic suitable for contemporary interior spaces that require a dedicated, refined area for contemplation or display.

The download is a 14.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the cabinet structure from the decorative ritual accessories. Users can adjust the wood grain mapping or metal reflectivity to suit specific lighting conditions within a scene. Ensure that the pivot points are correctly set at the base of the cabinet for efficient placement against walls or within niche spaces. The geometry is clean, supporting standard rendering workflows without requiring complex cleanup before integration into larger interior architectural visualisations.
