Minimalist Natural Wood House-Shaped Wall-Mounted Shelving Set

This minimalist wall-mounted SketchUp model features a set of four house-shaped wooden shelves with light interiors and decor. This storage set comprises four distinct house-profile modules of varying heights and widths, designed for wall mounting. The exterior frame is finished in a light natural wood grain, while the interior back panels are rendered in a clean, solid white. The gabled roofs provide a playful silhouette, making them suitable for display purposes. The set arrives populated with curated decorative objects, including a bulb lamp, wooden figurines, a glass container, and a geometric wire frame structure, which can be easily removed or rearranged to suit specific project requirements.

The download is a 16.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these shelves are organised as grouped geometry, allowing for easy placement and alignment on vertical surfaces. Users should ensure the axes are correctly oriented before mounting to the wall plane. The provided textures are mapped using standard materials, which can be adjusted or replaced to match specific interior colour palettes. Scaling should be performed uniformly to maintain the proportions of the gabled frames, and the decorative elements are contained within separate nested groups for selective deletion or modification.

Ideal for residential interior design, these shelves add a whimsical touch to children’s bedrooms, playrooms, or modern nurseries. They function effectively as feature wall decor in informal living spaces, providing a curated platform for small accessories, books, or ornaments. Architects and interior designers often specify these in family-oriented projects to introduce texture and warmth. Search for these under terms like nursery storage, wall-mounted display, decorative shelving, or kids' room accessories to find similar modular solutions for your design library.
