About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model is a linear sideboard featuring grey marble surfaces, fluted oak timber, and open display shelving. This storage unit presents a refined contemporary aesthetic, combining natural and industrial textures. The composition features a robust grey marble top and side panel, contrasted against a central section of light oak timber with a vertical fluted texture on the left end. The unit incorporates a vertical glass-enclosed display niche and a horizontal open shelf, both framed in black metal. These varied surfaces create a balanced interplay between solid storage and open display areas, suitable for high-end residential or hospitality interiors where functional storage must also serve as a sophisticated design feature.

The download is a 42.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised by material and component, allowing for efficient texture mapping and adjustment of the marble and wood shaders. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for accurate placement against walls or within media wall assemblies. The geometry is clean, supporting standard lighting setups and global illumination renders. Ensure all texture paths are correctly re-linked upon merging into the scene to maintain the integrity of the reflective marble and wood grain materials.

Ideally suited for luxury living rooms, master suites, or refined hotel reception areas, this sideboard functions as a sophisticated media console or display unit. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, large-format artwork, or architectural wall paneling. Professionals searching for elegant storage solutions, luxury console tables, or bespoke joinery elements will find this asset versatile for high-end interior design projects.
