About this asset

This contemporary 8-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a circular glass-top table paired with sleek, neutral upholstered chairs. This dining ensemble centers on a large circular table with a dark grey glass surface supported by a central pedestal base. Eight matching chairs accompany the table, each featuring a curved, semi-circular backrest that wraps around the seat for ergonomic comfort. The chairs are upholstered in a light, off-white fabric, providing a clean contrast to the dark table surface. The set includes decorative tabletop accessories, specifically a glass vase with floral stems and a bowl of fruit, which complete the composition for a ready-to-render dining room arrangement.

The download is a 13.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the table and individual chairs. Users can adjust the glass material transparency and reflection settings to suit specific lighting conditions. The chairs are instances, ensuring that material or texture modifications applied to one chair propagate across the entire set. Proper pivot point alignment at the base of each object facilitates quick placement on floor planes within an interior scene.

This dining set is ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, luxury hotel suites, or modern restaurant interiors. The neutral palette and clean lines make it versatile for various contemporary project styles, from minimalist apartments to sophisticated hospitality spaces. Architects and interior designers will find this model useful for staging open-plan living areas or formal dining spaces. It pairs well with modern lighting fixtures, such as large pendant lights or chandeliers, and can be used throughout the design development and visualisation stages of a project.
