About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp armchair features a grey wooden frame and fabric upholstery in a blue and yellow abstract patterned finish. This armchair features a rounded backrest and a square seat, both upholstered in a bold, abstract-patterned fabric with blue and yellow tones. A distinctive red piping detail runs along the seam of the seat and the base of the backrest, providing a sharp contrast to the upholstery. The frame is finished in a solid grey, featuring four slender, tapered legs with classic turned detailing at the top. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for use as an accent piece in a variety of interior settings, from modern living rooms to boutique hotel suites.

The download is a 10.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into your project, import the file directly into your workspace. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for seating to maintain scene organisation. Because the chair has a specific fabric pattern, check your texture mapping upon import to ensure the scale of the abstract print aligns with your interior proportions. You can easily adjust the grey frame colour or the piping material using the SketchUp materials palette to match the specific palette of your current architectural scheme.

This armchair is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly in living rooms, reading nooks, or master bedrooms where an accent chair is required. Its contemporary aesthetic also suits boutique hotel lobbies, high-end waiting areas, or small cafe seating zones. Professionals searching for feature seating or patterned occasional chairs will find this model versatile. Pair it with neutral-toned soft furnishings to allow the blue and yellow upholstery to serve as a focal point, or coordinate with bold accessories to enhance the vibrant aesthetic.
