Contemporary Grey and Wood TV Wall Unit with Integrated Door

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features integrated storage, a concealed door, and open timber shelving in a grey finish. This large-scale joinery system provides a comprehensive wall solution, combining closed storage cabinets with a dedicated television recess. The design features a matte grey finish on the main cabinetry panels, contrasted by natural wood grain elements within the lower shelf and the open vertical bookcase on the right. A seamless, integrated door is built directly into the cabinet face, maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The central television area is framed in a dark grey, recessed section, providing depth and focus. The overall composition balances closed, concealed storage with functional, accessible open shelving for decorative objects and books.

The download is a 65.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When incorporating this 3ds Max model into a scene, ensure the unit is correctly snapped to the primary wall plane to avoid clipping. Use the object layering system to manage the various components, such as the door, shelving, and main cabinetry, allowing for easy material adjustments. The texture mapping is set to real-world scale, so verify your UVW map settings if you choose to swap the wood or paint finishes to match specific interior design palettes during the final rendering phase.

This TV wall unit is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, or open-plan lounge areas where a unified joinery design is required. It works exceptionally well in projects requiring a seamless transition between storage, media display, and room access. Designers typically use this type of asset for mid-to-high-end residential visualisations, pairing it with minimalist furniture, contemporary rugs, and soft ambient lighting to create a cohesive, clean look that maximises both storage capacity and aesthetic impact in modern family homes.
