Contemporary Dark Wood and Marble Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features a rectangular dark wood table with a glass top paired with a circular marble side table. This nesting set comprises two distinct pieces designed for layered living room configurations. The larger rectangular unit features a deep, dark-stained wood base capped with a clear glass surface. Beside it sits a smaller, circular side table constructed with a slender metal frame, a white veined marble top, and a matching dark wood base. The contrast between the rigid, boxy geometry of the main table and the organic, circular form of the side piece provides a versatile aesthetic. The materials are refined and polished, suitable for high-end residential or boutique hotel lounge interiors.

The download is an 8.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, users should maintain the grouped hierarchy to easily adjust the nesting position relative to other furniture. The glass and marble surfaces are mapped with clear material IDs, allowing for individual texture adjustments or procedural shading tweaks. Ensure the pivot points are set at the base of each unit for efficient placement on floor planes. Use standard lighting setups to capture the reflective qualities of the glass and the subtle veining detail within the marble top.

Ideal for sophisticated living room arrangements, these nesting tables provide flexible surface area for seating groups. They work effectively in open-plan apartments, executive suites, or boutique reception areas where space-saving furniture is required. Professionals often search for modular coffee tables to complement minimalist or contemporary upholstery. Whether placed on area rugs or hardwood floors, the set creates a focal point. Pair these pieces with low-profile sofas or sculptural armchairs to enhance the modern, layered look within a high-end residential or hospitality project.
