About this asset

This contemporary altar cabinet set for 3ds Max features a dark wood finish and a slatted screen surround with a matching stool. This altar cabinet set is defined by its clean, contemporary lines and deep, dark wood grain finish. The main console incorporates three integrated drawers for storage, providing a functional base for traditional ritual objects. It is framed by a distinctive vertical slatted screen that provides visual depth and a sense of enclosure. A matching, simple stool is included, designed to tuck neatly beneath the console. The set is accessorized with traditional-style decorative items, including a central urn, candle holders, and crane figurines, all rendered in a matching wood-toned material.

The download is a 14.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max model directly into their scenes as a single cohesive unit. The geometry is organised for easy placement against a wall or within a dedicated niche. Materials are applied to separate components, allowing for adjustments to the wood grain scale or reflection settings. When lighting the scene, consider using a soft, warm area light to highlight the vertical slats and create subtle shadows, enhancing the depth of the cabinet's structured design.
