About this asset

Contemporary cylindrical column lamps provided as a dual-piece SketchUp model, featuring textured walnut timber and an illuminated slotted column design. This pair of vertical cylindrical accent luminaires features two distinct architectural treatments sharing a consistent vertical profile. The first fixture presents a three-tier stacked form finished in straight-grain walnut timber, punctuated by recessed matte black reveals along each junction and at the base. The second variant exhibits an intricate stacked composition with staggered dark bronze-toned curved panels, allowing warm internal illumination to escape through horizontal apertures across the entire height of the column. Both units feature clean geometric silhouettes with circular cross-sections.

The download is a 1.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Delivered as a native SketchUp component, the geometries can be placed directly onto credenzas, consoles, or finished floor surfaces. The separated parts enable straightforward assignment of V-Ray, Enscape, or native materials. Lighting designers can easily insert an interior omni or linear light source inside the open-slotted luminaire to accurately replicate the horizontal light emissions in real-time or offline architectural visualisations.

These sculptural fixtures suit luxury residential living rooms, boutique hotel suites, executive office reception desks, and modern dining credenzas. Their strong vertical presence works well as mood lighting flanking a media console, bedside unit, or sideboard. Interior designers can use these pieces when styling mid-century modern, contemporary, or minimalist schemes that require warm ambient lighting and rich timber accents alongside sleek architectural joinery.
