About this asset

This weathered red metal propane tank is a detailed 3D model featuring realistic surface wear, a brass valve, and worn paint. The model represents a standard vertical propane gas cylinder with a heavy-duty industrial aesthetic. It features a deep red finish that has been extensively distressed, showing significant paint chips, scratches, and surface oxidation throughout the body. The cylindrical form includes a protective collar at the top and a reinforced base ring with cut-out handle slots. Centrally located at the top is a brass valve assembly with a grey plastic control knob. A faded, multi-coloured graphic logo is applied to the side, accompanied by subtle warning text, enhancing the authentic, used appearance of the asset.

When integrating this asset into a scene, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor surfaces. The object relies on high-resolution texture maps to communicate its weathered finish, so verify that your environment lighting is set up to capture the metallic reflections and surface imperfections. It is best used as a background prop in industrial or utility-focused renders, where it can be grouped with other site equipment to add visual complexity and narrative detail to the environment.

This propane tank is suitable for architectural visualisations requiring authentic site detailing, such as kitchen utility areas, outdoor restaurant back-of-house zones, or industrial facility scenes. It pairs effectively with other maintenance equipment, ventilation units, or concrete surroundings. Professionals searching for realistic industrial site props or utility infrastructure models will find this asset useful for populating construction sites, plant rooms, or exterior service areas. It is particularly effective in projects aiming for a gritty, lived-in aesthetic where small, functional details contribute to the overall realism of the environment.
