About this asset

Double-layer contemporary curtains in beige fabric, designed as a SketchUp model featuring elegant tie-backs and pleated headers. This window treatment set consists of a double-layer configuration, featuring a semi-sheer white inner layer paired with heavier, textured beige outer drapes. The curtains are finished with formal pleated headers and include decorative tassel tie-backs, which pull the outer panels to the sides to reveal the sheer layer beneath. The drapery is modelled with realistic folds and natural hanging proportions, suitable for floor-to-ceiling installations. The set is presented within a furnished interior scene, complete with a bench, rug, and decorative plant, showcasing the scale and drape of the textile components.

The download is a 217 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtains are best managed by placing them within a dedicated layer or tag to allow for easy toggling during the design process. Users should adjust the width and height of the panels using the scale tool to match specific window openings, ensuring the pleats maintain their integrity. Materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures; ensure that texture coordinates are correctly mapped to preserve the fabric pattern and scale across the folded geometry for high-quality visual output.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a layered, soft aesthetic is required. They pair well with neoclassical or contemporary furniture, providing a refined, finished look to interior renders. Professionals searching for elegant window dressings for high-end residential projects or hospitality design will find this asset useful for adding depth and realism to their 3D scenes. They are particularly effective when placed against panelled walls or near large glazing to create a sense of scale.
