Contemporary Walnut and Glass Display Bookshelf Wall Unit

This contemporary walnut and glass bookshelf SketchUp model features an integrated display wall unit with concealed lighting and shelving. This large-scale, floor-to-ceiling modular wall unit is constructed from rich walnut timber, featuring a combination of open shelving and enclosed display areas. The left section incorporates vertical glass-fronted cabinets with slim profiles, while the central area provides a solid timber panel backdrop for artwork or a television. The right side is composed of open, multi-tiered shelving currently styled with book collections. Subtle, integrated vertical LED strips highlight the internal structure of the shelves, creating a warm, ambient glow. The unit is designed with clean, sharp lines, emphasising its balanced, architectural proportions and high-end joinery aesthetic.

The download is a 38.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups and components to facilitate easy editing of the shelving layout or material application. Users should manage the high-detail geometry using layers to maintain viewport performance. The integrated lighting components are mapped for easy adjustment in external rendering plugins. Scale the entire unit to fit specific wall dimensions using the scale tool while maintaining the aspect ratio of the primary timber frame and glass cabinet modules for accurate interior visualisation.
