About this asset

This contemporary abstract sculpture on a black pedestal is a SketchUp model featuring a geometric metallic form for interior design. This sculptural piece consists of an abstract, multifaceted geometric form crafted from polished metallic material, perched atop a tall, slender, rectangular plinth. The base is finished in a solid matte black, providing a stark, minimalist foundation that highlights the reflective, complex geometry of the crowning art object. The proportions are vertical and balanced, designed to draw the eye upward. The sharp, clean lines of the metallic sculpture create a striking contrast against the monolithic, dark block of the pedestal, making it a sophisticated focal point for high-end interior spaces.

The download is a 17 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is managed as a standalone component, allowing for easy placement and scaling to suit specific spatial requirements. Users can apply custom materials to the metallic surfaces to match lighting conditions or project render settings. The geometry is clean, ensuring minimal impact on viewport performance. For architectural visualisations, it is recommended to place this asset on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and to adjust the pedestal height to align with interior sightlines and surrounding furniture arrangements.

This abstract sculpture is ideal for contemporary residential entryways, high-end office lobbies, or retail showroom displays where a minimalist artistic statement is required. It pairs effectively with modern interior styles, particularly in spaces featuring clean lines and neutral palettes. Designers often search for this type of asset when staging luxury apartments, corporate reception areas, or gallery-inspired interiors. It serves as an effective placeholder for bespoke art commissions, helping to define the scale and aesthetic character of a room during the concept phase.
