Contemporary Light Wood Interior Door Set with Rattan and Reeded Glass

This SketchUp model features a contemporary interior door set finished in light wood, combining rattan panels and reeded glass. This collection includes two distinct door typologies framed in a light, natural-toned timber. The first is a pair of sliding doors featuring upper panels of woven rattan cane webbing, providing a textured, organic aesthetic. The second unit is a set of double hinged doors characterised by large, vertical reeded glass panels held within a grid frame. Both designs incorporate solid wood lower panels for structural stability and visual grounding. The proportions are balanced, with clean lines that suit modern interior schemes requiring a blend of privacy and light transmission.

The download is a 4.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should import this file into a SketchUp scene as a component or group. The geometry is organised to allow for easy scaling to fit specific opening dimensions. Apply custom wood grain textures to the frame elements and adjust the transparency and refraction settings on the glass components for realistic rendering. The sliding and swinging mechanisms are modelled as discrete objects, facilitating easy placement within floor plans or elevations to demonstrate circulation and spatial flow.

These doors are suitable for residential projects, particularly in living room, bedroom, or home office partitions. The rattan variant introduces a soft, bohemian or japandi touch, while the reeded glass option offers a sophisticated, contemporary look for semi-private spaces. Designers frequently specify these styles for high-end apartment renovations or boutique hospitality interiors where light-filled, tactile partitions are required. They pair well with neutral palettes, light oak flooring, and minimalist furniture, serving as both functional architectural elements and decorative focal points.
