Fire Texture Set

This set of high-resolution fire textures for SketchUp provides six distinct flame variations with high-contrast black backgrounds. This collection features six individual flame textures, captured with realistic motion and varying intensity. The imagery displays a vibrant spectrum of warm tones, ranging from deep orange bases to bright yellow tips, set against a solid black background. These assets are structured to allow for effective transparency mapping, making them suitable for compositing or as emissive surfaces within a 3D scene. Each texture provides a unique flame formation, offering different densities and heights of fire, which allows for varied composition when layering or tiling to create a more expansive or naturalistic fire effect.

The download is a 69.8 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

To integrate these textures into SketchUp, apply the image as a material to a simple plane or billboard geometry. For optimal results, use the black background as an alpha or transparency mask to ensure the flames appear naturally suspended. When rendering, set the material to emissive or self-illuminated to simulate the light output of fire. Adjusting the scale and rotation of the texture on different faces can help break up repetition if placing multiple instances in a single scene.

These fire textures are essential for visualising fireplace inserts, outdoor fire pits, or decorative lighting features in architectural scenes. They are particularly effective for interior design visualisations in hospitality projects, such as hotel lobbies or restaurant dining areas, where atmospheric lighting is key. Use these assets to bring warmth and life to static renders, pairing them with realistic hearth details or outdoor landscaping elements to enhance the overall narrative of the project and achieve a more convincing, lived-in aesthetic.
