About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides soft, natural sunrise lighting for outdoor scenes, featuring a winter orchard. This high-dynamic-range environment map captures a cold, low-contrast morning in a dormant orchard. The composition features bare fruit trees scattered across a rugged, grassy field under a pale, partly cloudy sky. The lighting profile is diffuse and cool, characteristic of a winter sunrise, which prevents harsh shadows and provides natural, even illumination across a 3D scene. The panorama is unclipped, ensuring accurate luminance values for realistic global illumination. It provides a balanced, neutral background suitable for exterior architectural visualisations that require a serene, rural atmosphere without intense solar glare.

The download is a 6.1 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into the environment or world lighting slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene's primary light source, if necessary. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically influence the ambient light, reflections, and shadows in your model. For best results, use it in conjunction with a shadow-casting light to ensure consistent directional lighting in your final render.

This environment is ideal for residential exterior visualisations, landscape design projects, and rural site studies. It pairs well with architectural models that feature timber cladding, natural stone, or minimalist structural forms, as the diffused light highlights material textures without overwhelming them. Professionals searching for naturalistic, overcast, or early-morning light conditions will find this asset versatile for rendering seasonal site contexts. It is particularly effective for setting a quiet, contemplative mood in projects located in pastoral or semi-rural environments during the winter season.
